Can weight loss pills decrease the chances of getting pregnant?

I am not currently taking them but I did before I got married which is about 2 years ago. I really don't want babies right now, but since my husband and I have had unprotected sex for the past year, and I haven't gotten pregnant, I was wondering if the pills could be the cause. Just to clarify: I am NOT taking the pills right now, I took them 2 years ago. Also, I rather not have babies right now, but if I get pregnant, they are welcome. Whenever God wants.

  1. they could be, talt to your doctor cause they can also harm the baby
  2. It depends on what is in the pills. They could be causing hormonal disturbances. If you are planning on getting pregnant, I would urge you to stay away from diet pills. They can be dangerous.
  3. I dont know but I do know that birth control pills work on gorillas
  4. NO
  5. well i was on them and got pregent stopped taking them immediately so it probably just depends on the person
  6. Hello I'm vice form the Advice Gurlies! The pills could be the reason, but you could also just be having sex a the wrong time and not getting pregnant. My advice is instead of taking diet pills.. go on a healthy diet instead. And then take birth control pills. This way no matter what you won't get pregnant. If you have problems we have answers. 7. NO. I was taking weight loss pills, and got pregnant with twins a month after I stopped taking them. And it wasn't the fact that I stopped taking the pills that I got pregnant, it was the fun after the miller high life & tequila shots that did it!
