Who can help me with some jogging/weight loss questions?

I just started jogging and jog (slowly) 45 mins to an hour 5 days a week. If I eat healthy 1200 calories daily, do you think this is enough to drop 20 lbs in 2 months? I am not and do not want to use supplements or do anything else than jogging. PLEASE answer the question as I have presented it. THANKS! OMG!!! Can you people NOT READ!? I don't want any other advice than what I asked for! This is what I want to do and just want to know any personal experience/opinions.... I AM NOT ASKING FOR ANYTHING ELSE!

  7. yup, try increasing the jogging time slowly dear... make it to one and a half within a week or two, u'll surely loss weight.
  8. First off, 1200 calories is not enough food. Not eating enough will cause your metabolism to slow and your body will metabolize lean body mass, i.e. muscle, bone, and worse (heart, organs, skeletal muscle), while preserving fat for later use, which will ironically never happen, as our bodies are designed more for fat storage than they are for fat burning. I added a link below that will help you figure out what your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is. From there, you should use the Katch-McArdle calculations to figure your required caloric intake. (I don't own the site listed below. I just found it on a quick search. I know Tom Venuto, the author of the main product this guys is selling. It's a good product, but I'd much rather you bought it through me at: http://bulldogg2k.burnthefat.hop.clickbank.net/) Since you're jogging five days a week, I would also use Moderately or Lightly active to figure out your caloric requirements. When you increase your pace, definitely go with Moderately or Very Active. Second, when you lose more than 2 pounds a week, chances are you are burning lean body mass, losing water weight, as well as possibly burning fat. If you want to lose 20 pounds of fat while maintaining lean body mass, you can probably do this within 8 weeks, but shooting for 10 weeks, in addition to being healthier for you, will increase the chances that you keep the weight off after you lose it. Running is great for burning fat, but too much of it will also burn away some muscle. You almost never see a curvy female marathon runner who hasn't been surgically altered. The best way to maintain lean body mass is light weight lifting. As a former professional bodybuilder, I can honestly say that you won't get bulky without specifically trying. Trust me, I have to fight hard for every ounce of muscle I add to my frame, and if you stick to light weights, you'll maintain your lean body mass, which will help you to maintain your metabolism while you lose fat, and you won't get bulky.
