Another one of those weight loss questions...?

Can I lose weight this way? By the way I'm about 5'3 and 135, and I'm 13. I know I'm at risk for being overweight. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't tell me i'm okay, this is about how I feel about MY body. I want to like what i see in the mirror Anyway I was thinking if I drink water like the whole day, and eat one meal, then do 1hr of cardio i could lose weight. Can i? Any suggestions. Like seriously if nothing works to be honest id rather throw up my food than continue looking like this. Ugly Listen to me ive heard all the 4-5 small meals stuff IM IN SCHOOL HALF MY LIFE i just cant eat when i feel like it its not allowed, and i am overweight Well i dont know its just so hard to stick to a diet...i just wanna be like bulimic, and yes i know its a disease and i learned all about it

  1. If you eat that way, you are going to get sick. You need to start eating BALANCED HEALTHY meals. So yes, drink water the whole day. But, instead of eating only one meal, eat whole grains, a lot of fruits and veggies...ask your parents if they can buy you organic food instead of conventional.
  2. You need to eat 5 small meals a day- 1500 calories total. Eating often like this will increase your metabolism which makes it easier to lose weight. And you don't really need to do an hour of cardio a day. 45 mins four times a week is good. Also, make sure you are eating GOOD foods like fruits and veggies and whole grains.
  3. Your plan really isn't healthy. If you aren't comfortable with your weight talk to your doctor or a parent. They can help you work something out that is safe and will make you feel better about yourself. Also, you aren't seriously overweight. In fact you are in the normal range. Just adding an hour of exercise a day could make a bigger difference then you may think.
  4. Continue drinking water and nothing else. Eat 4 or 5 small meals a day up until 4 hours before your scheduled bed time. Try to get enough sleep, it will help you be awake during the day so that you can burn calories. Eat rice cakes (50 calories per cake for Quaker caramel corn), fruit, vegetables, jelly beans for sweet fixes (4 calories a bean for Jelly Belly), lean meat (tuna, turkey) for sandwiches. You have to eat for your body to stay healthy and burning calories. One hour of cardio is great if you have time. Try to up the intensity for 40 minutes then weight train for the next 20 or more if you want. Everyone looks better with muscle. Another thing you could do safely is just move all day, suck in your stomach, and keep good posture constantly. This will keep calories burning and constantly be working your core muscles.Good luck!
  5. Well drinking alot of water is a good start but you can't eat only one meal a day and its not realistic or healthy. Try eating smaller more frequent meals. 5-6 small meals a day. Don’t eat fast food, or processed food like Doritos and such. Also Soda and energy drinks are a huge problem in the calories department. And if possible pick healthier selections at school, most cafeteria food in our schools has higher calorie and fat counts then fast food. So choose a salad bar if they have one or pack a sandwich. Working out is going to be great for you. It will make you more energized and you will feel better about yourself. But don’t over do it. Don’t forget you are still growing and could hurt yourself if you try to do too much. Try asking your gym teacher what they recommend for you. Also the most important thing is you have to love yourself before your going to be happy with yourself. Even if you lose 20 lbs, if you don’t accept who you are it won’t be enough. You will lose weight and then you will hate your nose or your chest or ect ect. No one is perfect and we are all special in our own way. Life would be boring if we all looked like Cindy Crawford =)
