  3. LA Weight Loss. I swear by this program. It's based off of the FDA Regulations - all 4 food groups, eating all day (6 times a day). You don't have to take their suppliments (but they do help), you don't have to eat their food (but they have stuff available if you're busy and you dont' cook - which I don't), and you don't have to do their bars (even though they do help tremendously - especially for women and our sweet cravings). I lost 65lbs on that program. It was amazing. The program was easy, the support was what I needed, and it fit into my lifestyle. I could drink, eat out, not cook, I could celebrate holidays and I could even go on vacation w/o packing anything special. I believe in this program so much I worked for the company for 2 years. (I don't anymore - working on my own business) but I LOVE this program. I did weight watchers and jenny craig, and slim fast before. NONE of them worked. I did pills and that body for life thing. I needed real people to help and support me. again.. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM lol Good Luck
  4. walking 10,000 steps (about 5 miles over the course of a day)-- eating less and but healthy foods - this is what I keep telling myself I'm going to do -- maybe when it gets warmer is my current excuse -- it does work -- I used to walk alot and was much healthier
  5. It is as simple as anything else you do. Just eat healthy, and stop craming all that junk into your mouth. I stopped eating that crap, all together, and have lost 45 pds. Eat as many fruits and veggies as you want thru out the week, and then have meat on the weekends.
  6. everyone has a diet that really works for them. Do one that will fit your schedule and that you're most comfortable with. Mine includes joining activities to get away from the food and when I'm hungry I grad cereal or a toaster strudel. Because not only are they sweet but good with the vitamins and minerals. For in the morning I eat a special k bar. and eat a regular meal at school to satisfy me till I get home. I never buy candy cause believe me that adds up. I'll lost 20lbs. since I started. When I'm bored I take a walk around the lake (3 miles= 1hour).
  7. There is only one program that works...that is the one where you burn more calories than you take into your body. Anything else is a scam. A reasonable diet and reasonable exercise. That is it. Calories are a unit of energy. When you take in too many calories, it is stored as fat for later use. When you reduce the intake of calories and increase the need for them.. excess calories are use( fat is burned off). It is that simple. Not easy, but simple. Eat a sound diet...avoid high fat and a lot of processed sugar. Walk quickly, or run and walk combination, 4 times a week for 20 to 45 minutes, depending on your fitness level. Drink plenty of water..6 to 8 glasses( 8 oz glasses) or about 64 oz total a day. You cannot lose weights with pills, unless they are crack or crank...not healthy, and you cannot do it sitting and watching TV. The best program for losing weight is the one you will stick to. Find it and do it. you are worth the effort.

  10. Yes – eat less calories, and burn more. It worked great for me. Since i`ve started to keep an eye on the calories I eat and the calories I burn I`ve lost weight. My suggestion is to create your own weight loss program since you`re the one who knows best what your body`s needs are. I plan my meals and workout on this diet & fitness planner i`ve found on http://www.projectweightloss.com -it`s like a myspace for people who want to lose weight. They also have nice weight charts so you can plan how to lose weight until you reach your target weight and tells you when you`re over or under the limit. Hope you`ll find it useful, good luck!
