Are weight loss pills the best option for overweight people?
I`m overweight and have tried a bunch of diets (no workout though) but I’ve had no significant results so far. I was wondering about weight loss pills..are they really a good way to lose weight? No side effects? What other weight loss solutions do you recommend? Thanks!

- Weight loss pills may help you lose weight but some have side effects. It depends on the meds you take. However, if you keep an eye on how many calories you eat, and burn the same number of calories or more per day you should lose weight. I found a good diet planner at projectweightloss.com. They also have nice weight charts that show you how when you`re over or under the calorie limit you need to stick to. It’s free. They also have interesting articles about weight loss and lotsa friends who can give you advice.

- Well, that's your problem right there. No matter what you take if you don't exercise then you will have a hard time losing those extra pounds. The thing is that most people nowadays are more prone to look for instant result, and going for pills are the one thing that they do the most. If you want, you can go take ALi, that new wight loss pill that the FDA approves, but, if you read on the labels it is strongly suggested that you combine taking the pill with exercise. You have to remember nothing in life comes in an instant, except instant ramen noodles or coffee. It takes hard work. Hell, it took my boyfriend almost a year to have a washboard abs, and he's proud of it, because he didn't even take any pills for it. Trust me, get some exercise, its good for you and makes you healtier. Don't just take pills. Because if you work hard for it, you feel better about yourself and that you will fell more confident. Good Luck.
- It is more of a lifestyle and mindset change, rather than just dieting. For successful weight loss, you must eat sufficient amounts of vegetables, and a variety of healthy foods in appropriate proportions. Sleep is also very important. The sleep deprived people have hormones that make them eat more and tend to crave junk food. Join activities that get you moving, maybe stuff like social dancing or brisk walking. Gather friends who also want to lose weight, you can encourage each other in the process. WebMD has provided 15 tips for diets (http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/15-best-diet-tips-ever), I have copied 9 of them here. 1: Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Think about what you can add to your diet, not what you should take away. 3: Consider whether you're really hungry. 4: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 5: Enjoy your favorite foods. 6: Enjoy your treats away from home. 7: Eat several mini-meals during the day. 8: Eat protein at every meal. 9: Spice it up.
