I have some metabolism and weight loss questions?
I'm 16, and I want to lose weight. I drink 8-15 ice cold glasses of water and 1-3 glasses of organic green tea a day. I eat about 2-3 meals a day and almost everything that I consume is organic. My calorie in take is about 1000 give or take.
How much weight would I lose by september/what is my weekly weight loss?
I exercise 4 times a week by playing soccer and doing crunches,jogging in place for 30 minutes, and a little bit of weight lifting.

- to lose weight... you need to eat MORE You are too young, and to active to be eating so few calories!! Continue to keep the activity and eat the organic foods, that is GREAT... but you are doing your self a disservice by consuming so few calories. You are actually slowing your metabolism DOWN because your body isn't getting what it needs. It thinks its famine time, and is starving your muscle so that it requires fewer calories to maintain it's fat storage. Ask your mom to take you to the doctor for a physical and ask him to suggest how many calories you should eat for your goals.
- With your activity it sounds like you are burning more calories than you are consuming. May be good, but make sure you are getting enough to sustain the energy you need for those activities. There really is no guarantee to say how much weight you will lose. PLEASE make sure you don't become underweight. Think of your genetics and athletics and the fact that they play a roll in everything too. I know that I will never have super-skinny legs as I am an athlete and the swimming, running, and biking have given me great muscular thighs that are bigger than normal!
