I have a few weight loss questions. help please??

First of all, i do a few excersizes daily. About 100 crunches and these leg things which are like squats. I;m somewhat careful, but i used to be dieting. I go to school (im in highschool) and i need to eat, or else my stomach growls in class and its very embarassing. I can usually never diet during school becuase i get hungry and eat whatever i can (but i do my best-im careful). What can i eat in my 10 minute break? and what can i eat for lunch? i want something low in calories and filling. Also, I was wondering if you can look fat but it all be muscle. I dont want to look the way i do. I look fat, and i want to look skinny. But will the muscle keep me looking the same? what can i do to prevent that?

  1. Go bulimic, works like a charm
  2. rice cakes there low cal and pretty filling if you get a good flavor like caramel there really tasty and for lunch id say soup its good for you and doesnt have a ton of calories and you know when i was in high school i was chunky but i always found it really hard to lose weight but now that im out its way easier so dont get to frustrated....somehow the stress of highschool makes it hard to lose weight good luck and keep trying
  3. More cardio. Guys aren't into muscular women. I suggest taking up a cardio that is fun like mountainbiking or kayaking. As for eating, it really isn't how much you eat, but what you are eating. Look for salads with no ranch (try vinegar and oil) or even make a sandwhich with alot of garden veggies, turkey, and vinegar with basil. Its really tasty adn healthy.
  4. Take things like a flavored rice cake and apple for a morning snack, Maybe a slimfast shake. A preportioned unsalted bag of almonds or peanuts could be a good snack as well. Just make sure you bring them from home, otherwise you will get hunger and continue to eat the best of a terrible list of foods offered at school. As for your other question, muscle is always going to have more mass than skin and bones will, but will not give you the appearance of being fat. Skinny is not healthy and is unrealistic for most girls. Focus on health and you will look your best.
  5. you have to eat a good, heavy breakfast that will sustain you till lunch. eat a light sandwich with salad. eat a light dinner. eat more vegetables and some fruits.more exercise till you sweat a lot.you did not specify how much you weigh and how tall you are, because you just might feel that you are fat but actually you are not.
  6. hi, i like to snack on sugar free pudding. a really cool quick snack is plain graham crackers with coolwhip free in the middle, pop it in the freezer over night and its a low fat ice cream sandwich. YUCK veggies, but with ranch dressing (lite) it's quick and yummy cold cut sandwich for lunch with a yogurt or cottage cheese and a crystal light...early rise or fruit punch is best tasting. it's hard, but limit your snacks. i am currently cutting out all sugar (pop, candy, cookies...) it takes 3 days to eliminate sugar from the body. Weights, don't lift heavy. lift light, more reps.
  7. Muscle weighs more than fat. Always remember that. Dieting also doesn't mean you have to starve yourself, either. You should make sure to eat a good, healthy breakfast before school (it'll keep you more alert and you'll be less hungry). I used to eat a bowl of cereal with soy milk on it. The worst way to loose weight is to not eat, because then your body can go into starvation mode and then when you do eat again, your metabolism won't work as good and you'll gain more weight. Try eating small healthy meals and keep exercising. Just keep it up, nothing amazing will happen overnight, don't give up and you will eventually see results! Also, whatever you do, don't eat "diet food". It's filled with a bunch of artificial crap and studies show that on top of being EXTREMELY bad for your body, artificial sweeteners also make you crave more food.
