weight loss questions?
I have been lifting weights and eating healthy religiously for the past two weeks and my jeans just keep getting tighter. Clothes that fit a week ago are no longer comfortable. What is causing this?

- Muscle weights more than fat and is denser. However after only 2 weeks I would not think an increase in muscle mass is that significant. Are you retaining water?
- Probably you are eating healthy but still eating a lot.
- You are gaining muscle and losing fat; keep at it and you'll start losing inches eventually (waistline etc.)
- You are building muscle before actually losing the weight and toning it up.
- As some have already said, eating healthy can still be too much. You have to burn more calories than you eat to actually lose much fat or weight, and actual weight lifting doesn't burn that much unless it's very high intensity. If you can, add some cardio. It helps blood flow anyway, and actually helps you with building muscle. It is also possible that you are retaining water and fiber and it will clear out soon. It could be a combination. Drinking plenty of water should help as well.
